Victory for Veterans

Victory for Veterans (VFV) is at the heart of SDN Pros. Steve is the founder/CEO and Shawn started working with the non-profit as a Veteran mentor who eventually joined the Board of Directors.

Victory for Veterans was founded to reduce Veteran and First Responder suicide – Veterans are at 57% higher risk of suicide than those who have not served. VFV rallied together as a community aiming to provide hope through healing and support in various ways: Warriors for Life, Life Readiness Center, and employment support.

To better serve and support our Veterans and First Responders, VFV holds nightly virtual meetings, Warrior’s For Life Virtual Community Support, which is now in its 6th year. These are held 6 nights and 2 mornings each week for people to have a place to connect with others who also face challenges transitioning out of the military/service, struggle with PTSD, and more.

VFV will open its first Life Readiness Center (a Wellness Clinic) to address health issues faced by Veterans and First Responders, such as Traumatic Brain Injury, Post Traumatic Stress, Anxiety and many other invisible disabilities and challenges.

On the employment side, Victory For Veterans has provided apprenticeships in IT and soon to be in the construction trades of HVAC, Plumbing, Welding and more.

Victory For Veterans also holds events around the country and throughout the year to raise awareness to our Veteran and First Responder challenges:

Flower On Every Grave

Each Memorial Day, in 8 locations in 2022, we placed over 30,000 flowers in honor of our Veterans.
